The challenge
The municipality held five years of survey data across three incompatible spreadsheets, and no way for a ward officer — let alone a citizen — to answer a basic question about their own ward.
Our solution
We built a single Django data pipeline behind a public Next.js profile: mobile collection for surveyors, an aggregation layer that recomputes on sync, and a ward-level public site with charts and a coverage map.
The outcome
Ward offices now answer population and household questions in seconds. The public profile served 40,000 sessions in its first quarter.
